Maurice Minnis

Maurice Minnis, Founding Partner, has over eighteen years of business, management, sales and recruiting experience. Working his way up the ladder, Maurice started his career in the IT staffing industry as an Assistant Recruiter with GW Consulting, the largest IT staffing company in the Bay Area at the time. Maurice quickly became the top salesperson by landing the Hewlett Packard account which he then grew into the company’s largest client.

Maurice is a graduate of Brown University with a double major in Business Economics and Organizational Behavioral Management.

Ellen Lerner

Ellen Lerner, Founding Partner, brings over 18 years of business, technology and recruiting expertise to CSI. Ellen has extensive experience as a recruiter and manager of recruiting operations in the NY, NJ, Philadelphia and Northern California markets. Ellen has worked with small minority owned consulting firms that focus on public and private sector, large privately held regional IT consulting companies and publicly traded international consulting firms.

Ellen is a graduate from the University of Arizona with a degree in Anthropology and a dual minor in Philosophy and Computer Science.

Lisa Hirsch Healy

Lisa comes to Consultant Specialists, Inc (CSI) with over twenty years of solid business, consultative sales, marketing and management experience. During the 80's and early 90's Lisa gained valuable corporate experience while doing business development within the telecommunications industry. Lisa's consulting services industry experience was obtained over the past 9 years with a prominent International firm. Lisa quickly became the top Business Development Manager in the country, generating and managing over 75 million dollars in revenue, and took on the role of Global Account Manager to the company's largest client, Hewlett Packard.

In addition to assisting new and established clients with their human staffing needs, Lisa serves on the Board of Directors for Tri Valley Animal Rescue, is acting Chairperson for their annual fund raising event and fosters homeless dogs.

Lisa graduated from the University of California at Berkeley.

Maggie Romero

Maggie Romero joined the CSI team in 2006.

A Bay Area native, Maggie Romero brings over twenty-five years of local sales and technical recruiting experience to the CSI team including extensive experience within IT staffing in the Financial Services industry.

Maggie has served as a board member and long-term volunteer to the Assistance League of Diablo Valley, a non-profit philanthropic association.

Norma Lacambra

Norma Lacambra joined the CSI team in 2005.

Norma has been recruiting in the Bay Area for over 15 years. She is a top performer with international recruiting experience. Prior to building a successful International Recruiting division with Modis, Norma worked at the United Nations as a Supervisor of the Accounting & Travel Department - United Nations Development Programme.

Norma is a graduate of the University of the Philippines with a degree in Business Administration.

Ava Povraznik

Ava joined the CSI team in 2006.

Ava brings over 10 years of technical recruiting experience and 4 years of project management experience to the team. Ava is a Southern California native with a background in both accounting and technology.

Ava is an active volunteer with Distributed Proofreaders/Project Gutenberg and has previously volunteered with the San Francisco Public Library, the Electronic Frontier Foundation and SF Genealogy.

Ava is a graduate of UCLA with a major in History.
